Personal Project
The passing of a renowned and beloved local publican inspired me to create a series of visuals celebrating the importance of the local pub in rural Irish communities - starting with my own.
My hometown (village) Rostrevor has a small population of around 2 thousand or so – yet we have 8 thriving pubs. I created a series of whimsical, Wes Anderson influenced visuals in order to bring the traditional yet unique characteristics of each establishment to life in a contemporary manner.
There will be a limited series release of the designs with profits going to a selection of local charities.
